HISTORY ON THE LAWN: TRUE LIES

  • HISTORIC ADAMS HOUSE in DEADWOOD, SD (map)
  • Google Calendar ICS

As the Old Vaqueros are fond of saying, “The past is a foreign country. They do things differently there.”

Join Bob Boze Bell, author and executive editor of True West magazine and find out why we remember the legends of Western history figures: Wild Bill Hickok, Calamity Jane, Crazy Horse and Custer. Are the legends true?

BBB has found that some facts believed five decades ago have turned out to be true lies and heroes of the last century could be considered the villains of this century.

Free for members/$5 for non-members. On the lawn at the Deadwood Historic Adams House. In case of inclement weather, the lecture will be moved to the Homestake Adams Research and Cultural Center (HARCC).
